1. Booking and Payment
1.1. A non-refundable booking fee/deposit of [50 percent of the shoot fee] is required to secure your session date.
1.2. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 7 days before the session (or on the session date if agreed).
1.3. Bookings are confirmed only after the deposit is received. Session dates are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
1.4. All payments are to be made via EFT, cash or card (coming soon).
2. Cancellations and Rescheduling
2.1. If the client cancels the session, the booking fee is non-refundable.
2.2. If the client reschedules with at least [7 days] notice, the booking fee may be applied to a new date (subject to availability).
2.3. Cancellations made within [3 days] of the session may result in a loss of any payments made.
2.4. The photographer reserves the right to reschedule due to illness, unsafe conditions, or unforeseen circumstances.
3. Weather and Location
3.1. Outdoor sessions may be rescheduled due to adverse weather conditions at the photographer’s discretion, we will though try to provide an alternative indoor location for your session.
3.2. The client is responsible for obtaining permission or permits for specific locations if required.
3.3. Travel Costs are excluded from our shoot packages and so travel costs are charged at R6.00 per km
3.4. Venue Fees: Venue fees and other charges like photography allowances at a venue are for the clients responsibility and are not included in our shoot packages, these fees are quoted for where possible in addition to our shoot packages and other costs.
4. Session Conduct
4.1. The client is responsible for the behaviour of all participants during the session.
4.2. The photographer reserves the right to terminate a session if behaviour poses safety risks or prevents the session from proceeding professionally.
5. Image Rights and Usage
5.1. All images remain the copyright of the photographer.
5.2. The photographer retains the right to use images for portfolio, website, marketing, and social media, unless the client specifically requests otherwise in writing.
5.3. Clients are granted a personal-use license to print and share images for non-commercial use.
5.4. Commercial use (e.g., advertising, resale, publication) requires written permission and may incur additional fees.
6. Editing and Delivery
6.1. Basic retouching and colour correction are included.
6.2. Extensive editing (e.g., body reshaping, background changes) may incur additional charges.
6.3. The photographer will deliver the final edited images within approximately [X weeks] of the session date.
6.4. RAW or unedited files are not provided.
6.5. The photographer’s artistic style is understood and accepted upon booking.
7. Client Galleries and File Storage
7.1. Digital images will be delivered via cloud, Wetransfer or Google Drive and remain available for 7 days / 1 week after completion of editing.
7.2. Clients are encouraged to back up all digital files. The photographer is not responsible for loss after final delivery.
8. Liability
8.1. The photographer will take all reasonable care but is not liable for circumstances beyond their control (e.g., equipment failure, accidents, weather).
8.2. In the unlikely event of total photographic failure or cancellation by the photographer, liability is limited to a full refund of any payments received.
9. Model Release
9.1. By booking a session, the client grants the photographer permission to use their likeness for promotional and marketing purposes, unless a written request for privacy is made.
9.2. For minors, the parent or guardian must sign a separate Model Release Form.
10. Agreement
By paying the booking fee and/or participating in the photo session, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to our photography Terms and Conditions and our site usage Terms and Conditions
