Helderfontein Residential Estate
Helderfontein Residential Estate is a beautiful Eco-Estate out near Dainfern, Midrand in Johannesburg and is not only my personal shoot location but also my home-base, the estate consists of dams, wetlands, lots of open spaces and parks, grasslands, wild flowers, rocky ravines and even a few forest like environments – it’s basically a nature lovers paradise.
And due to the estate being fairly large, there’s plenty of scope for a large variety of different photography shoot themes from an urban feel to those with a bush like feel… The estate also has lots of interesting locations which are more than perfect for use as photographic backdrops.
Helderfontein Residential Estate being a secure estate, has also got a very good reputation for it’s security… which means that shoots we can guarantee our clients a very safe experience during your shoot with us.
The Estate is also known to be a very peaceful and quiet place, which also means that doing a shoot here with us there’s most likely to be no disturbances or interference with our shoot during your visit

The area used to be a hunting estate amongst pins woods in the early 20th century, now it’s a popular photography location and unique public park in the city.

Ideal location for nature and outdoors sessions, plenty of scope for a variety of different themed shoots.

Ideal Location for urban themed shoots with graffiti backgrounds or artistic backdrops.

@ Home Shoots
Should you wish to have a photography session at your home… please note, that this is possible, as long as you have a suitable and large enough space to do the shoot.
However note that travel costs will apply and are charged separately to that of my shoot packages.

Shoot Location, Terms and Conditions:
- Traveling Fees are not included with my photography package prices.
- Session length is also affected by traveling time, should it take an hour to get the location, it would require at least 2 – 2 1/2 hours photography to be booked.
- I rely on the use of Uber to get around, which means that the further away the location is… the more expensive the travelling costs are likely to be…
- As some of these locations are public spaces, there’s no guarantee of the these places being quiet or suitable for photography.
- I also refuse to do shoots in places deemed to be unsafe or known to pose various risks… the safety of myself, my team, the equipment and my client is our upmost priority.
- Some venues charge a fee to make use of their facilities… we don’t include this fee in our photography packages and is for the clients responsibility to cover.
